I would rather be kind

She calls him darling
She pats his head
She thinks it's pleasing
She thinks its nice

She calls him by name
She shakes his hand
She thinks it's fitting
She thinks it's kind

She's being nice to him
He may not understand now
But how does this really help him?

She's being genuine with him
He may not understand now
But what is true will ever appreciate!

 About all these, he has contemplated,
"I would rather be kind, Nice is overrated"

On Time, Complacency and Blogging

I started this blog 5 years ago and it doesn't show at all and then I started a travel blog 7 months ago, TERNGU and it really hasn't been easy. Am really excited about my travel blog, I love having it around but I've still got a lot more work to do, developing more and better content, being consistent, learning social media marketing tactics and so on.  Well, yesterday, a friend sent me the 10 day freedom blog challenge, at first I thought yes wow! this could be a real challenge and then I tried to find a way to make it go with my travel blog and it did work but not quite well. Before I go to the main point, I'll like to share about a writing and publishing space I discovered of recent. MEDIUM . Its basically a platform where anyone can write and share their ideas and articles. If you like writing but do not really want to have or start a blog, medium is a good place to be. Or if you already have your own space where you write, it's still a good place to be as you can reach a different audience and it allows you to republish stuff already posted on your blog. One of the articles in my Medium Daily Digest today was titled, Write to Express not Impress by Jeff Crume. That article is partly what pushed me to finally write this post.
